In November we had an amazing workshop and round table discussion with the incredibly inspiring Shana Bestock.
The workshop included improv exercises on storytelling – where we made up the best fairytales on climate issues ever – followed by a session on “Exploring Shakespeare” – a dynamic, physical introduction to the power and pleasure of Shakespeare’s text and characters, using short scenes to explore the relationship between sound and sense.
A few days later we met again for a round table discussion with Shana on the “Transformational Impact Through Theater-Making – How, When, Why?”.
We all left so inspired and can’t thank Shana enough for this beautiful gift of devoting hours to “playing” and talking about theatre!
