PRIVACY POLICY

The Pennyless Players (PP) website is for your own personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from the PP website.
The contents of the PP’s website are protected by intellectual property rights and other related rights. No part of the PP’s website may be reproduced in any form (electronically or otherwise) without the prior consent of the PP.
You are not permitted to link to or use all or any part of the PP’s website for any purpose which is unlawful, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable.
You are not permitted to alter the PP’s website in any way.
You must not post onto or transmit to the PP’s website any material containing software viruses or files which may damage or disrupt the good working order of computer or telecommunications equipment.
The PP reserve the right to refuse to post onto or remove anything from its website which, in the PP’s opinion, is objectionable or does not comply with these terms and conditions. The PP shall not in any way be liable for such actions.

The PP’s website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by parties other than the PP. The operation of such websites is outside the PP’s control and you proceed at your own risk. The PP do not endorse or sponsor and is not liable for the products, services or content you access through any linked site.

The PP will collect, use, store and disclose your personal details in accordance with Austrian Data Protection Laws. The PP are committed to protecting your personal information, being transparent about what data we hold and giving you control over how we use it.
We collect personal information when you make a reservation for tickets, contact us with questions or queries, sign up for the newsletter, register for Script Tease or any kind of workshop (improv workshop, school workshop, etc.).
We only collect the information that’s necessary to provide the particular service you’ve requested and to keep you informed. There are occasions when you can choose not to give us certain information, but this may mean that we cannot provide you with certain products or services and that our communications are less relevant and personalised. For example, you may not hear about an event that we think would appeal to you.

We collect the following information when you reserve tickets: name, email address
If you are registering for Script Tease or a workshop, we collect: name, email address, phone number

If you contact us with feedback in our contact form online, or by email: We keep a record of the correspondence on our database to help us improve our customer service.

Why do we collect this information, and what do we do with it?

The main reasons we collect information are to provide a service you have requested, to keep you up to date with news and events, or to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information (i.e. schedule chances, cancellations).

How long do we keep your information for?

We will keep your information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and to fulfil our obligations. We will not keep more information than we need.

The retention period will vary according to the purpose, for example if you are reserving a ticket only, we will typically keep your data until the end of the performance run, if you signed up for the newsletter, we will keep the data until you unsubscribe. Is your information shared with any third parties?

The PP will never share, sell, rent or trade your personal information with or to any third parties.

Your rights in respect to the information that we hold about you include:

  • the right to be informed of the ways in which we use your information, as we seek to do in this Privacy Policy;
  • the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes i.e. our newsletter;
  • the right to request that we correct or rectify any information that we hold about you which is out of date or incorrect;
  • the right to withdraw your consent for our use of your information, which you can do by contacting us, or by unsubscribing the newsletter; and
  • the right to receive a copy of any information we hold about you.
