Stage Productions

Roughly once a year, the Pennyless Players produce (at least) one fully staged theatre play.

We are always on the lookout for people with great ideas who want to produce, and direct the next show – once a production team is in place, and they have found – or written! – a play of their choice, that team sets up a casting for actors, and begins a search for behind the scenes designers and crew including lighting and sound, props and set, stage management, costumes, hair, make-up, music, etc.

Production History

Since our foundation in 2007, we have usually performed 1-2 full-length plays per year; since 2017 we’ve also focused on improvisational theatre. We’ve participated in numerous events with improv performances, short plays, scenic readings, etc. offer acting and improv workshops.
