The Pennyless Players – as the name implies – are designed to run on a low-budget basis so that proceeds from our productions can be donated to charity. Our mission is to create quality community theatre through our members’ voluntary, unpaid work and by (re-)using sustainable resources (e.g. by borrowing instead of buying, say, props). Nevertheless, creating theatre costs money. Since we keep only a part of our proceeds to cover expenses as well as running costs, we frequently need additional resources to allow for more elaborate productions or even just to enable us to rent a venue. This is where you can come into play.
If you want to support us in creating English theatre and in enriching the community of Graz by offering an open platform to everybody interested in drama, your donation would go a long way in helping us.
