In 2019, our lovely “Script Teaser” Cecilia founded the legendary Thirsty Script-Tease Thursdays. For 2024, this event has been renamed to Wild Script-Tease Wednesdays.
On multiple Wednesdays during the semester, we table-read a surprise script accompanied by drinks and snacks. Since the script is always a surprise for the participants, and the roles are distributed at random, everyone at the table is equal – we approach a new story and new roles together.
These evenings are intended as a casual, easy way to approach play texts – the fun lies in uncovering the plot together and gradually finding out (and being able to show) more of the characters as we read. It playfully expands your knowledge of theatrical texts and character work.
These events are free, though donations of spare change are welcome to cover printing and snack costs.
Anyone is welcome – no prior experience is required.
