One summer, 5 strangers, 6 weeks of theater.
Innate or externally, through newfound or rooted connections, slowly, over time, or suddenly; change inhabits each and every one of us. All we truly need is an impulse to unveil our repressed emotions and finally set chaos into motion.
Through a series of deceptively simple theatre games and improvisations, the participants in a summer theater class slowly bring about transformation, as they peel back the layers of everyday politeness and self‑protection. Soon, an opening emerges for the unfiltered exploration of vulnerability, trust, and the power of being truly seen. Deep feelings, honest human connection and messy relationships: the windowless dance studio in the small town of Shirley (Vermont) becomes a resonance chamber for the very essence of human condition.
